First bowling ball – Hammer Onyx Vibe?
i wanted to know if i should get a hammer onyx vibe as my first bowling ball. I started throwing a hook a couple of weeks ago with the house balls, but i would like to get more consistent. I’m a beginner, and if i play seriously i average about 120 or so 150 best, but I’m new to throwing hooks so i would like a good beginner ball. And if i shouldn’t get the vibe onyx what should i get? i need a ball that is made as a 11 pound ball. and also i would like to know what i should know when i go get my ball drilled. a hammer onyx vibe might be a little too much for you
i would highly reccommend an avalanche slide or a toxic hammer they are good begginner hooking bowling balls. Don’t worry about what you need to know when you go to get it drilled. All they do is measure your fingers and i would highly reccommend also getting finger tips, most pro shops don’t charge extra for those it will help you get more lift off your fingers and give you more of a hook and control over the ball
