how do you stop your dog from eating poop out the kitty litter?

i have an amican bull and a pitt bull and one 20 weeks and 17 weeks old i cant get them to stay out of the kitty litter box,i have scolded them till i have turned blue…….if any one has any advice just let me know

I have two dogs- one of which thinks the litter box is her all night buffet. Also, the litter box has a cover & a door & she still gets in. I was looking for a solution to this problem last week at Petsmart when I saw a litter box with a hole at the top of the cover, not the side like usual. According to the label, you leave the box uncovered for about a week to let the cats gets used to the new box, and then you put the cover on it so they have to enter the box from the top. I admit I haven’t tried it- I have a 15 month old son and don’t dare have an uncovered box in the house- but it might be the solution to your problem. Good luck
