My front mountain bike wheel doesn’t spin freely well, my front brakes squeak and are not very responsive?
What do I do?? I have a Kona Hoss Deluxe and i am new to the sport
I have disc brakes. my idiot mate also put CRC on the brakes will it wear off? what should I do?
Well, your mate has messed you up. You will need to replace the pads immediately. CRC may also melt some of the seals and plastic bits as well.
If the bike is new, keep in mind that it takes some time for disc brakes to wear in… you won’t get good braking for 30-40 miles or so.
If the brakes don’t stop squeaking after wearing in the disc might be a bit loose. TAKE IT BACK TO THE SHOP and have them check it.
