SHOULD I LET MY SON SEE SAW 6 WITH HIS FRIENDS AND ONE ADULT GUARDIAN?
my son has asked me if he can go halloween day with his friends to see saw6 in theaters with a group of friends and one of their dads. all of his friends have seen almost all of them. he saw parts of saw 5 at a friends house and was fine he didnt have nitmares or anything. he is thirteen and pretty mature. he has seen lots of rated r and unrated movies. what would you do???
The honest truth is that today’s youth are growing up faster than ever before. Kids under 10 with cell phones, computers, and experiences that most people from generations past couldn’t even fathom at that age. A thirteen year old teenager should be able to distinguish the fact that it is a MOVIE and that normal people shouldn’t behave in this manner.
I’d suggest telling him he is allowed to go, but having a short (2-3 min) talk with him about how kidnapping, torturing, and killing people is entirely immoral. (Even though he should know this already)
