I have red/purple marks on my upper legs. Are these something to worry about?
I have red marks on my upper legs, I’m 16 and I got these a few months ago. They are red/purple and when I run my finger over them I can feel slight elevation. Is this something to worry about or are they just stretch marks? (I’ve grown a lot in the past few months).
They haven’t really hurt or anything and they’re there all the time for me.
I think I have either the exact same thing, or something similar. I’m also 16 and I’ve had this for a couple years. I only notice the purple/redness when I’m really cold. (Like getting out of the hot shower, wearing shorts when the AC is on, etc.) I also feel the slight elevation. You can go to your dermatologist if you’re worried about it, but my doctors haven’t said anything about it.
