Has anyone had Navy and Silver for their wedding colours?
I would like to have Navy and silver for my wedding colours, but i don’t know if it will look too dull. ive thought of adding a touch of pink or red or something to make it pop a bit more. if you have had these colours, or been to a wedding with these colours could you please tell me what you thought? thank you
I used royal blue and silver for my wedding. I went with royal blue instead of navy because I felt that navy was just a touch too dark for my venue (it had dark wooden beams etc). I also had white as a background neutral colour and I used white and blue flowers with lots of greenery.
But I think that the silver will bring out the navy, so it won’t look dull. Although I’m not sold on touches of pink or red. Pink and blue are just too cliched for my liking (genders etc); and red and blue… well, that just reminds me of my old school uniform. Instead I would find a light neutral background colour like white, ivory or beige. Where you use this colour is the table cloths and chair covers etc, with the navy and silver as the runners and chair ties. I would avoid using black because the navy might just blend into it.
