Does anyone know of a site that discusses Super Bowl III being thrown?
It is my belief that the game was thrown and at least 3 participants were involved. This sentiment was also believed by Bubba Smith, Defenseive End, and others. I have seen nothing in print other than Bubba’s comment that he thought the game was rigged. It appears that those players that question the validity of the game are “shut up “! I would appreciate any info or your comments.
Dude, the game wasn’t thrown by the Colts. I don’t believe that for one second, and neither should you. The Jets simply were the better team that day. Joe Namath and his team were hungry, and they earned that championship ring. True, Baltimore was the better team on paper, but it was just like when the Pats beat the Rams in Super Bowl 36. They wanted it more.
