do you think its possible to moisturize hands with hair conditioner?
huh i just thought of that. perhaps it might work.

It may leave a sticky residue. Hair conditioner is not really oily unless
you get it for dry hair. It reduces static, and makes hair soft, reducing
tangles. If you cannot afford
hand lotion, a little baby oil at night, or a little cooking oil,
or even a little Crisco applied sparingly will help the discomfort of dry cracked hands.
I say at night because during the day it would be oily and slick.
Olive oil is expensive, but a little goes a long way. If you can have
a pair cheap disposable gloves to put on, leave on over night, it is really softening.
If you have cracks in your hands, be careful though, you can get
fungus, or depending on what you are working around other infections.
wash your hands thoroughly before applying this. Always be sure
to dry between your fingers. There are some
good inexpensive hands lotions, you need to try different ones until
you find one. My favorite, although it is medium priced, is Jergins. It
really does heal my hands when they are chapped in the winter.
