Best Baseball Glove Brand for a Left fielder in baseball and Fast way to break in?
I have one but its old and my little league just started and I plan on getting a new one this weekend so I need a fast way to break it in
Honestly the brand is up to you. People say Rawlings makes the best, but that is not true. They just have the biggest legacy. I have owned both Mizuno and Rawlings and I prefer Mizuno, but it’s up to you. try each one on. The Mizuno already had a giant pocket, which is good. Like I said before, it is a matter of opinion. Also the best and most effective way to break a glove in is playing pass, but if you don’t have that luxury try placing the ball in the glove where you want a pocket to develop. When the ball is in position place it under something heavy like a mattress or sofa cushion (if that is heavy enough to push against the glove. MAKE SURE THE BALL IS IN THE POCKET OR ELSE IT COULD HARM YOUR GLOVE! Also, try putting neatsfoot oil on, it. This can be found at almost any hardware store along with wal-mart etc. (WARNING) This will darken the leather significantly, so unless you don’t mind the color changing darker permanently, this isn’t recommended, however it will soften the leather. DON’T boil or microwave your glove. These aren’t natural ways to break it in, and can have bad effects.
