Spiderman And James Bond To Get New Games In 2010?
A financial earnings report has been released by Activision for the financial quarter just passed. The publisher announced making $200 million profits on a $1 billion sales earnings. However, the hidden piece of video game news behind this announced is the possible hint of some new games dropped into the report.
Within all the technical talk, there were some hints that in the not too distant future we may see a new Spiderman, Bond, and Tony Hawks game. Currently the Spiderman game and the Tony Hawk game has not been confirmed, however, as for the Bond games, the president of Activision, Mike Griffth has confirmed it. Unfortunately, no other information was given out, just that is was being produced at the moment.
The last Bond game released was published by Activision, and it looks to be one of the best Bond games yet. The game allowed players to play through the adventures in both films, Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. That game had been built by Treyarch, the masters behind many Call of Duty games, probably why it grabbed to many good video game ratings. However, Treyarch was not mentioned as the developers behind this new announcement.
Also, nothing was mentioned about what the story of the game would be based on. So really the game could go in any direction, it could follow a new story, a previous film, or possibly be a prequel for another film.
As for the other 2 games, there were rumours recently about a new Spiderman film being released wich would suggest a new game release aswell, this I look forward to. Finally, the Tony Hawk game, I don’t think is happening because with Tony Hawk: Ride being released in November, I don’t think they would released another so quickly. However, you can never really tell, it’s just a waiting game now.
