Fuss-Free Delicious Brownies Recipe For Dessert

A delicious main course should be followed by an equally delicious dessert. But it’s not always that you got lots of free time to produce a dessert. Luckily, you can make brownies even when in a time crunch. The following is a quick and easy recipe for making this yummy chocolate dessert.

The ingredients are pretty simple. You will need cake mix (1 package), butter (1 stick), brown sugar (half a cup), and egg (1 medium sized). Of course there’s also cocoa powder (half a cup), and peanuts (1 cup, chopped coarsely). You will also need a large-sized mixing bowl, baking spoon, electric beaters, and medium-sized microwave-safe square cake pans.

Since the goal is to make a dessert in a snap, you will only need a countertop microwave oven for baking! Once you have set everything, the stick of butter should first be melted. Put it in a small bowl, chop it into tiny pieces, and use a paper towel to cover the bowl. Place it in the microwave and heat for 5-10 seconds. Stir and repeat heating until the butter is completely melted.

Transfer it in a large bowl, then add in the cake mix, brown sugar, egg and cocoa powder. Mix them all together using electric beaters. Do it for 1-2 minutes, or until it resembles a thick cake batter. Add the chopped peanuts into the mixture. However, this time you will only use a large spoon for mixing.

Grease the pan using a cooking spray, then carefully transfer the mixture into it. For the microwaving part, you can follow the directions printed on the cake mix’s packaging. You should turn the pan every 2 to 3 minutes if your oven doesn’t have a turntable. This will ensure an even baking of the brownies.

To test if it’s done, poke a toothpick or a tiny skewer into the center of the baked brownies. If it comes out without anything sticking to it, it’s done! Remove from the oven and let it cool completely. If you wish for it to cool quicker, place it on a cooling rack. You can later on cut the brownies into small squares before serving.

You can even use this very same recipe in making a delectable chocolate cake by simply using round cake pans. Once cooled, place a large plate on top and turn upside down to transfer the baked goodie. Use ready-made frosting in chocolate or vanilla flavor to completely cover it. Decorate with chopped chocolate chips, marshmallows and the like.
