How to convince mom to let me watch Dog the Bounty Hunter?
My mom won’t let me watch the Dog the Bounty Hunter marathon on A&E right now because she thinks that Dog and his crew look like rough shady bikers and she isn’t too fond of those type of bikers. Is there any way that I can persuade/convince her to let me watch the show? Thanks
Well, they do look a little “rough”. But that is just the persona. Dog was a convicted killer and imprisoned at one point, but he has apparently changed his life around.
You can convince her that he and his family are doing a job that actually helps the criminals try and turn their lives around. Sometimes they run, and of course Dog and family have to apprehend them. They do a lot of good in Hawaii and Colorado, things for kids especially.
The show has kind of jumped the shark though, as they have made this like a lot of the “reality” based shows a little too over the top dramatically to make for some good tv. I think it actually makes it look corny as of late.
But, they do try and portray the Chapmans as a good and decent family, doing a tough job, that most of us probably wouldn’t want.
If you do some Googling, you will be able to surely find a lot of positive stuff on Dog and his family.
But, ultimately, it’s your mom’s house, and her rules….so good luck.
