Why In old cartoon do they always have a BOMB shaped like a bowling ball???
i mean in dangermouse and in Tom & Jerry cartoon (and others) they always have a bomb hshaped like a bowling ball (or and cube ball) i haven’t seen a bomb that shape so were the hell did they get the idea????
This was the shape of early fragmentation bombs. It was a cash iron ball full of explosives. When it detonated, iron shards would kill anything in range. They stopped making bombs like that when they invented the pineapple bomb used in hand and stick grenades
