I don’t have a book of listed gun values, so maybe someone out there can help me out.?
I’m curious what the book value ( I know because of its collectibility the amount you’re able to get for it may be higher) is for a Colt Python, in .357 mag, 4″ model in NIB condition is. Also, please let me know if the price you find is for blued, stainless, or chrome. I’d appreciate it. Just looking for some ball park numbers to keep in my head.

Jason, I’m sort of interested in knowing what the listed value of the guns are. Gunbroker’s prices will typically be a higher than the “blue book” value because of the phythons collectibility. For that reason I’m thinking that GB’s prices will be slightly inflated, I’m just not sure about how inflated. I’ll check it out though. Thanks.
My Blue Book is older and I really do not use it much any more, as I have found it to be more wrong and way off than correct and actually reflect the current market.
I stay pretty current of gun prices in the SE USA. A truly NIB blue steel Python with all original documentation would be stickered from about $1,200 to $1,700. If stainless steel add about $ 300 -$500 as these guns are not seen very often at all. Nickle plated add about $100 – $300.
What I’ve posted are stickered gun shop / gun show prices. I think actual real world private party cash sales prices would be about 10 – 20% less than that.
