Why are the major bowls on ESPN this year?
I know they rotate the channels each year now.But I thought it was and should be ABC,NBC,and CBS.I have cable but it is not fair to the ones that don’t.I guess money had something, well everything to do with it.
I remember in the old days when the Cotton was on CBS(when it was considered a major bowl)
The Sugar and Rose was on ABC.And the Orange on NBC.I forgot what the Fiesta was on.
It did not rotate LoL
Fox had the rights to the BCS bowls with the exclusion of the Rose which had a deal with ABC.
ESPN out bid Fox this 4 year rotation. I will correct my self and you on this, it does rotate but only every 4 years and only if they get out bid.
Notre Dame has a separate deal with NBC and that is the only time they really carry college football.
CBS also has small side deals but just like NBC they only get junkers that ESPN/ABC have passed on.
